Loma, Colorado

Loma Colorado sits at the west end of the Grand Valley in Mesa County. First settled in the late 1880s, Loma gets its name from the Spanish word meaning - small hill.

Loma had an early history of sugar beet crops which dominated the area until the 1970s. Agriculture still drives the 1300 residents of Loma and many small farms still encompass the vast landscape.

Loma Colorado is easy to navigate to. From Interstate 70 at exit 15 head North on Highway 131 to the town center.
