Grand Junction, Colorado

Grand Junction is the largest city in Mesa County and is the county seat. Almost directly between Salt Lake City, Utah and Denver, Colorado, Grand Junction calls home to 66,000 residents. The city gained it's name from the confluence of the Colorado and Gunnison rivers. Settled in the 1880s as a fruit growing region Grand Junction still enjoys a large agriculture base with a wide variety of outdoor recreation.
